The Junior Company is where young dancers in school years 3 to 6 begin their journey towards excellence. Designed to nurture budding talent, this program provides a strong foundation in dance while offering exciting performance opportunities that inspire confidence and creativity.
Training in the Junior Company mirrors the structure and discipline of our main Company, ensuring a seamless transition to the Senior Company when dancers reach Year 7. This continuity allows young dancers to grow with a clear progression path, developing both their technical skills and their love for performing.
Our Junior Company program introduces members to a variety of dance styles, including:
This well-rounded approach ensures they gain versatility and experience in multiple genres, preparing them for future challenges and opportunities in the world of dance.
From local stages to exciting community events, our Junior Company members are encouraged to take the spotlight and showcase their growing skills. These early experiences help them build stage presence and confidence, setting the foundation for more advanced performances as they progress.
Our goal is to create a supportive environment where young dancers thrive. By the time they graduate to the Senior Company, they are not only technically proficient but also equipped with the poise, discipline, and resilience needed to excel.
