Protegem brought out their confidence and imagination
I have 2 boys who were interested in dance but I found it difficult finding a dance class that is suitable for boys. A friend recommended Protegem and after a trial lesson both my boys loved it and still do! The classes are very reasonable priced and as a parent you can’t put a price on your kids happiness and to see them excited to go to their street dance class every week is amazing!
To sum it up it truly is an amazing dance company. The staff are very welcoming, all the children are very happy in their dance classes and for my children personally it has brought out their confidence and imagination. It’s also great discipline and they have met lots of other amazing kids! Very good value for money and the staff look after your children impeccably!! Would highly recommend.

They have both found a real passion to dance and the confidence that comes with it
Both of my children love to dance, I found Protegem through my sons school, he joined and absolutely loved it! I spoke to Alison his dance teacher about my daughter who was turning 2, I asked about ballet and tap which is also a class available in the company, my daughter started the term after her 2nd birthday, she loves every minute of it, it has helped to boost their confidence and perform on ‘the big stage’ as they call it! Ollie joined the boys squad after Alison advised she thought he was ready to move up. He never looks back now! They have both found a real passion to dance and the confidence that comes with it.

Every child feels valued and accepted!
I was looking for a dance school for my daughter and subsequently, my son. I found some dance schools to be old fashioned and unfriendly. Protegem was like a breath of fresh air. Every child feels valued and accepted. There is a huge range of abilities. Children always look like they’re having fun and getting the most out of their time there. Gemma and her team have given my children the extra boost of confidence, fitness and harnessed their love of dancing and music.
Protegem has exposed them to so many different musical styles and genres and they accept these as ‘cool’ and ‘modern’ more readily than if they came from me or indeed most parents. Recently, my daughter passed her audition to get into the Company dance group. This has given her and me an enormous sense of pride and responsibility. Both children have just completed three shows at The Epsom Playhouse. They loved the experience of performing and being part of something bigger. Protegem provides the whole package as you can buy uniform from Gemma at reasonable prices and of excellent quality. Gemma answers queries very quickly so you feel valued as a customer and very much part of a team.
